HL 1060Z 100W CO2 Laser Cutting Acrylic
CO2 laser cutting uses a focus lens to gather CO2 laser beams on the material surface for melting them. At the same time, the coaxial compressed gas blows away the materials melt, making laser beams and materials do relative motions along a certain path and forming a certain shape of cutting seam.
One of the popular materials for HL CO2 laser cutters and engravers is acrylic or polyacrylate. Lucite, Perspex, and Plexiglass are the more common trade names. CO2 lasers are an outstanding tool for processing acrylic. Laser cutting and laser engraving acrylic offers many application possibilities, including producing illuminated signs, displays, decorative objects, toys and more.
The laser head deliver a very high beam of energy on a sheet of acrylic, thereby cutting the material. This allows manufacturers to easily laser cut acrylic letters, acrylic panels, or laser cut acrylic signs. The acrylic laser cutting process is also incredibly fast. Speed is related to the thickness of the material and the power of the laser source.
